Installation Guide

Follow the steps below to download, install, and get started with your new research & simulation software. First, Download Safepine Kernel.

Once downloaded, you’ll need to unpack the software and prepare it to run on your system.

  1. Unpack the Archive
    Navigate to the directory where you downloaded Safepine Kernel. Use the following command to unpack the archive into a folder: tar -xvf safepine_os_server_v1.5.2.tar.xz
  2. Navigate to the Directory
    Enter the new directory with: cd server
  3. Run Safepine Kernel
    Safepine Kernel is designed to launch a local web server that displays your research-list and hypothetical (simulation results) in your web browser.
    Run the following command to start Safepine Kernel: ./safepine_os_server Once the kernel is running, open a web browser and go to: http://localhost:8082 This will open the Safepine dashboard, where you can begin managing your portfolio and exploring your data.
